Leandre Fuhri

Leandre Fuhri Shaw is the Spa Manager and the creative voice of The David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa. She has worked in the SPA industry for over 16 years and remains current with the latest techniques and treatments and hosts regular workshops for her clients to attend and grow. Leandre has had much success in the industry, from opening and operated a salon  in the Garden Route region before leaving to start her career in hospitality Spas and later moving on to become an educator for The Beauty Therapy Institute in Knysna. Leandre was invited to be the Guest Speaker at the Professional Beauty Conference in South Africa in 2018. After completion of training, Leandre started as SPA therapist and quickly becoming Head Therapist at the legendary Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa in Knysna.  It was here that Leandre began in-salon training which inspired her next career move as an educator and Salon Manager for Beauty Therapy Institute Knysna.  Leandre then moved to Livingstone, Zambia and took up the exciting new challenge of SPA Manager at The Royal Livingstone Hotel for Life International whilst developing new SPA setups and teams in the region. In 2016, Leandre was given the opportunity to spearhead Zambia’s first organic spa at The David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa – an opportunity that she is passionate about. It is here that Leandre devotes her time into the awareness of healthy living and community upliftment utilising fair-trade, cruelty-free beauty products. In early 2020, Leandre challenged herself with an additional three new training courses for completion post COVID-19 pandemic. Leandre’s motto is that you are never too old to stop learning.
